CHALLENGE
Mary Modern set out to redefine the cannabis dispensary experience—elevated, welcoming, and designed with women in mind. At the same time, its sister business, The Sherwood Cocktail Lounge, needed its own unique identity: stylish, timeless, and a little playful. The challenge was to create two visually distinct but complementary brands, then bring Mary Modern to life across physical, digital, and printed touchpoints in time for a highly anticipated grand opening.

SOLUTION
We created a flexible design system that gave each brand its own voice while keeping subtle visual links between them. I led creative direction across branding, packaging, signage, merchandise, web design, and sourcing—ensuring everything from in-store materials to marketing assets felt polished, consistent, and rooted in intentional design.
OUTCOME
Mary Modern opened to strong community buzz and praise for its thoughtful, design-forward approach to cannabis retail. The Sherwood, while launching on a separate track, carried forward the same level of care and visual sophistication—positioning both brands as standout destinations in their respective spaces.
